One of the rooms of the MIHACALE is dedicated to cereals, the raw material of milling. The main cereal in Europe is wheat, a grass with many varieties that we can observe and touch both in spike and grain.
In addition, in the Wheat Room various panels and projections allow us to learn or remember the traditional tasks of cultivation, harvesting, threshing and separating required in wheat production within the decades of the 20th century when the Flour Mill “Marina Luz” operated.
This space also explains the National Wheat Service and shows the traditional instruments and systems of agricultural measures.
Therefore, in the Wheat Room, children as well as adults and the elderly can share experiences; some to learn, others to remember; and all to enjoy together.
